Requirements on Reference Systems for Vehicle Localisation.
ATZelektronik worldwide. (5), October 2012.

Kurzfassung:

In today's driver assistance systems the responsibility for guiding the vehicle is with the driver. In view of an automated traffic driver assistance systems will be increasingly engaged in vehicle guidance. Such systems rely primarily on the perception of the environment and in particular on the knowledge of the own vehicle position. This results in the need to verify the specified measurement quality of the localisation systems. The article categorises structural and parametric requirements for a reference system. From these categorised generic requirements specific requirements can be derived for the considered use case.
